Clan Rankings

Ranking in The Emerald Circle tends to be more task-oriented than authority-oriented.

Ruling Council: The Ruling Council consists of the clan leader and clan Kings, Queens, and Empress.  Currently, the clan leader is Cohy, who took over leadership when the founder, our Empress Aladonna, had to step down for real-life reason.  The current Kings  Badcall and UNKLEPICK2, ScsiDog and Catdaddy.   Together they make up the “ruling council.”  Any of the ruling council can act on behalf of the clan as if they are the leader, although we tend to make decisions jointly and together. While the ruling council, in general, tends to have the final say on the direction of the clan, they are expected to abide by the wishes of the clan at large, and almost always will do so except in cases where the wishes of the clan at large are detrimental to the clan.  Major decisions that affect the clan at large are usually decided by a clan-wide vote.  Major decisions are things such as declaring war and changing the tax rate.

Cohy- tends to also act as the Clan Secretary and Treasurer, sending out important (and sometimes not so important) messages to all clan members.  She is runs the Clan Quests, the Clan Blog, and handles all clan payouts on Clan Payday.

Kings Badcall and Scsidog and UNKLEPICK2 tends to deal primarily with diplomatic issues, handling pact and non-agression requests and the very rare decision to declare war.

King Cohy tends to primarily handle planned battles and new player training.

King Catdaddy does a little bit of everything.

Emerald Head Hunters are responsible for new member recruiting, and handle accepting and/or rejecting new member applications.  Our current Emerald Head Hunter is decks_o_gold,and EngineerT[TEC]and drainsurgeon06.  Please refer any new member questions to decks_o_gold,and EngineerT[TEC]and drainsurgeon06.

Emerald Bishops tend to be the people we have noticed that are extremely helpful to others, go way above and beyond in this regard. They are, in a sense, the “sacred” of the clan.

Emerald Knights tend to be helpful with kills, tend to be task orientated, and get things done. Of course, tend to be the warriors of our clan, raiding and pillaging (although all of us are!)

Emerald Rooks are clan orientated, loyal, and protect the clan above all else.  They tend to be the most helpful with helping others accomplish their goals, and are usually the best to ask for help with finishing quests.  Rooks tend to be most helpful with new members and players.

It is strongly advised to NOT beg, plead and whine to anybody for credits – that just irritates us   Clan Payday is usually Sundays, and we offer numerous opportunities to earn credits.

Emerald Scouts are “general” members, former Pawns who have won a clan quest or otherwise shown themselves to be true to the Clan, but are still quite new to the clan, or members we just haven’t quite found a niche for.  Scouts tend to be the heart-and-soul of our clan, multi-purpose and flexible.

Emerald Pawns are new members, members who rarely play, or members who we just haven’t quite found a niche for.   Members who have had their accounts hacked are also placed at Pawn status for their own and the Clan’s security, until we’re fairly confident their account is secure again.

All members have a say in the clan, regardless of rank.  Any ideas, suggestions, issues, problems, etc., can be discussed openly and decided upon together, although truth be told those in GSC tend to be heard more effectively.
