We just received word from our secret research labs and it looks like we’ve done it again: We’ve defied all the rules of science with the birth of a technical wonder that allows the Leonov to be equipped with a revolutionary new Promerium alloy. Thanks to its special technical structure, this Promerium alloy allows the Leonov to lock onto and catch a high-energy beam sent light years away from the home base. This beam of energy greatly increases your ship’s performance while cruising around on your company’s first four maps (X-1 to X-4).

Additional information about this alloy can be found in the hangar under the menu item ”Ships“. If your ship turns blue this means that the Leonov was able to catch the power beam, telling others that this is one big-bad ship not to mess with.

This miracle of science is exactly what our rookie pilots have been waiting for: It’s one tough fighting machine, giving you plenty of bang for your buck and allowing you to put up one helluva fight against powerful enemy ships! All existing Leonov ships have already been automatically equipped with this state-of-the-art alloy for free.
