- Welcome back Esmerala! So sorry to hear about your account getting hacked! Although I must admit it is rather funny that one of the MMO’s you so gleefully destroyed was responsible for that! In light of Esmerala’s recent experience, I strongly advise EVERYONE to read the following post in the forum, entitled “How to Prevent Your Account From Being Hacked” http://en,board,bigpoint,com/darkorbit/showthread,php?t=67080 By the way, if you have not already done so, you should write down your USER ID – this is not your name, it is a number you can find at the top of the screen in the game and on your home page, Tech Support can NOT help you without this number, should the worst happen and you find your account hacked, All clan members are asked to assist Esmerala in any way possible, as this hacking of her account cost her over 200,000 honor points (the creep took her account to the dark side of MMO costing her half her honor!),
- Remember to get busy on those 777 quests! As far as I know, Saturday is the last day to complete them, According to the German forum, we have until noon, server time, on February 1st to finish the quests, but the English forum doesn’t specify this, FYI: If you start a quest at say, 11:30am Sunday (server time), you can finish that quest even if it takes you past noon, Server time, by the way, is California time, Those clan members who have already finished all of the 777 quests please do what you can to assist all those who have not,
- Have you checked out the new map at 4-5? This new map is a special Battle Map, meaning if you get in a battle there, you have to duke it out until you kill, or die, There is no neutral zone, although you are safe from attack near the port for the first 15 seconds after you jump in the map, When you go into the map, you will find super-boss aliens and uber-aliens, aliens that are tougher than any others in the universe, Also, there is a special hidden portal in the middle of the map, This portal does not show on the mini-map, If you jump into this portal, it will take you to a random map somewhere in the universe, It is advised that you not jump this portal if you don’t have one of the elite jump-chips tho, because if you end up on a map that you aren’t high enough level to be on, you won’t be able to jump out of it except through using the jump-chip! To get to the new 4-5 map, go to 3-5 and enter the port at the middle of the top of the map,

A special Congratulations to NightStalker, for reaching level 16! The first TEC member to reach this exalted rank! He can invade enemy home bases now, and dish out some of what we’ve put up with in our own home base forever!! Way to go, NightStalker!
